Beckman Upgrade

A new 5mm oak bark tanned leather sole from Ware's tannery, Dainite half lug and Vibram 430 heel block. We can also add a 3mm leather board mid-sole between the cork cushion and Ware's leather out-sole for extra durability and cushion comfort.
 
The original half lug provided by Red Wing has a habit of cracking and disintigrating over time. This is due to a higher plastic content in the lug sole. The Dainite lug dosen't suffer from this problem. We also hide the goodyear stitch in a channel under the lug sole. This helps prevent wear and allows the lug to be replaced later without having to remove the leather sole and damage the welt with repeated stitching.
 
We can also add a stacked leather heel block to make the boot a bit more dressy. Call the shop to enquire about this.
 
This repair and resole isn't exclusive to the Red Wing Beckman, it can be done on any boot or shoe with a welt.
